THE WALK

IN 2020, CARCEL opened Copenhagen Fashion Week. As a surprise, we turned the show into an activistic experience, where no new clothes were shown. Instead, we wanted to put focus on the urgency of new business models and ideas of beauty needed to curb overconsumption and overproduction. As a finale, the audience was asked to walk the runway, and exposed onto screens as models of the future. The show was made in collaboration with artist Kristian Kirk and Jan Gleie.
